It's Impossible to Dislike Cadel Evans

After stage 9 of the Tour de France, Cadel Evans lost the yellow jersey (or the lead, for all you lame-o's who don't follow cycling). I won't go into cycling specifics, but Evans was openly upset about his ride.
In this picture, Evans is sobbing in the arms of his teammate. I was very touched when I watched this live, and later when Cadel sat on the steps of the team bus, just devastated.

A lot of people don't realize cycling is a team sport, because it is usually just the team leader who gets the glory. But there is not a single team leader who could win the Tour de France without his team. That's what had Evans so upset: "I'm just so sorry to let them all down" Cadel said after dropping down to 18th overall.

I cannot think of another sport where teammates give so selflessly, as they do in cycling. That's a big part of why I like cycling. It is all about sacrifice. Man, I love July.
