This is Angel. I've talked about her on facebook and twitter, but I don't think ever by name. We've had her a month now. She's four-years-old, and she belonged to Jeff's coworker, but she now belongs to us. We've had a few... issues, but it's getting better every day. She's jumped on couches, puked on carpets, dug under the gate (and escaped), bullied Elway, and scratched the sliding glass door, but a transition period is to be expected.
We got Angel because we were worried that Elway was depressed; we thought a new friend might help him. The first 3 weeks had us thinking that Angel wasn't a good match for him, but they're slowly warming up to each other. Every now and then I catch them sniffing each other, or chasing each other around the living room, or sitting by each other outside. Elway has begun initiating play with Angel and being more dominant. He's not letting her push him around anymore. Elway's no longer mopey and once again has a spring in his step. It's nice to see him want to play. So I hope things continue to go well with Angel, she's been a positive influence on Elway.
