While at the pool on Saturday, I put the book under my chair, which was at least 7 feet back from the water.
But apparently, there was a slight downgrade, and the water runs down the grout between the tiles. My book happened to be sitting right on the grout.
The book was so wet, I could ring it.
I paid $7 for this book at Bookman's, but still, it is a travesty. Books are to be respected and treated well. I have failed this book.
